You current version of the software offers different camera transitions (from left to right, etc.). But I can't find any "free camera transition", which could allow us to define a starting and an ending point (keyframe), to create a personal animation (diagonally, etc.).
I often use the Panolapse software, which offers this effect. I hope you’ll add it soon.
