Default setting

Hello,
I am happy to use time-lapse tool for me to generate the video file.
By now at program settings only have language and export fps allow to set, but in case I would like to set the output video in lower frame rate, it's only can manually change at the sequence duration box, that's make me need to change it every time, I remember previous version can do any framerate as I like before, I wish can do that again.
Moreover, I wish aspect ratio can set at settings as well.

Thanks a lot.

It would be so handy if i could keybind Deflicker for example on a button so i apply it fast on each sequence

Is there any actual way of doing that ?

automate import and export

Is there anyway to automate the importing of images and then exporting in a particular format

I have a camera that uploads images to a folder and would love to have the system automatically import all file and out put to a folder and then repeat the task with any new images after a set amount of time

Support for FITS file format

Hi,

I am using your software regularly at it works great. Most of it is for astronomy showing time-lapse of the stars and satellites over many hours.

I take the original images as jpg so the frame info works well as a time stamp.

Many astronomers use the FITS format. However when converting these to PNG or JPG the file creation date is lost at the frame inform time stamp is incorrect.

If you could consider adding support for FITS files that would be great.

Thanks.

Scripting for YouTube Publishing

I have almost completely automated my daily capture process, but I have one last hurdle. I see there is scripting available for Export functions, but is it possible to have such functionality for Publish options as well?

Would be interested in the following:

- Would like to auto publish to YouTube via script.
- Would like to set a basic auto-naming for uploads such as date: 03.27.2021

Any help with this would be very greatly appreciated! Keep up the great work!!

frame per second setting

What will determine the smooth running of the clip? No one probably would set a fps at 60 but one takes pictures at very different intervals as well as exposure length depending on the scenes. Will 24 or 30 fps render the final compilation smooth?

Some ideas hope can have it a coming future.

- Light & fade in or out can set timing control
- Camera Transition can set the start and end point for the move

Thank you so much.

Keeping original filesize when exporting

Hello,

we did some timelapse images using a Ricoh Theta S.

When trying to export the image series via timelapse tool we would like to have the possibility to export the film not only in FullHF or 4k. Instead we would like to export the film in its original size (here: 5376 x 2688 Pixel), so that the result can be watched in Ricoh players or on youtube as a complete 360° panorama video.

Do you think this could be implemented in one of the next versions of timelapse tool?

Many thanks

Portrait orientation

Hi

I am pretty new to this and have shot a series of images in portrait orientation, which I would like to keep. When I load them in the software seems to put them on their side as some form of default. I have tried to rotate them but the images are automatically crop
ed, even if I remove the crop facility... can anyone help?

Free pan effects

Hello,

You current version of the software offers different camera transitions (from left to right, etc.). But I can't find any "free camera transition", which could allow us to define a starting and an ending point (keyframe), to create a personal animation (diagonally, etc.).

I often use the Panolapse software, which offers this effect. I hope you’ll add it soon.

Thank you very much, kind regards,

Merging sequences

Since effects like fade out always take the whole length of the sequence they are applied to, it would be really nice to be able to merge two sequences together (i.e. reverse a Split).

I have time lapse data that is split into different folders due to limitations of the Android app I'm using, so the workaround for this is to put them all into one folder, rename them sequentially and than import that merged folder into TLT.

More transitions

I would seriously consider buying the Pro version of this software if it featured more transitions, notably a fade in from black and a fade to black, as well as transitional effects from going from one scene to another. Any development plans for this in the near future? In the meantime, I am enjoying the free version but then have to bring the final product to another video editing app for those effects to happen. Eliminating that step would cut down on production time and bring you another customer.

File size estimate

When setting the export format and quality, it would be cool to see how large the output file will roughly be.

Intuitively I set the sliders on H264 to "Best" and "Highest Quality" (both to the right), and of couse this led to a 4 min 720p file that was around 3,5 GB. Is there any way to quantify what exactly the sliders change (the first one, 'fast vs. best', is more clear than the quality one)

Frame split

Hi,
Want to buy license but have question regarding process of adding images into Time-Lapse tool.
Is it possible to import only 2nd or 3rd and so on image from folder? So in case if I have shots on every 5 seconds for example, I can import it as shot on every 10 seconds and so on.
I tried to find such feature but can't. Only FPS of final movie can be changed but this is not equal.
